YOUTH

Bray Wheelers have an active youth cohort and the club actively encourages young people to join and supports them on their cycling journey with:

  • Free club membership of Bray Wheelers for under 18s.
  • Under 23s students have half-price membership, and family discounts are also available, please see Join Us for more info.
  • Clothing for under 18s, who are regular participants, is discounted by 66%, or two-thirds off the list price, and this supports all youth members under 18 years, whether they are involved in competition or not.

There is a wide range of cycling opportunities for youth riders in all disciplines of cycling – road, track and off-road/MTB. There are weekly road spins and MTB rides available for youth riders and they can participate in club road races in the summer months. There are also opportunities to represent the club at road, track and off-road events.

Please keep an eye on the website for up and coming events for youth.

The club’s Children’s Safeguarding Officers are Caragh Rellis and Sean O’Tuathail and can be contacted at: bwccyouth@gmail.com
