TRACK

Bray Wheelers has had great success over the years in track cycling with many national medals won by Bray members, and the club has developed track riders to International standard and completion.

Track cycling is another way to develop your bike handling skills, and experience exciting racing, and the track discipline has a wide variety of different types of races available.

When you become proficient at track cycling your speed, concentration and fitness levels will all increase substantially.

To get this started you must first complete an accreditation. These sessions are run throughout the year at Sundrive Velodrome in Crumlin, Dublin. In the off-season our track coach Ger Ivory (+353 87 991 7090) runs taster training sessions for all Bray Wheelers members. All you need to try the track is your cycling gear, as there is a fleet of rental bikes available, and these are fitted with Look Keo pedals.
