Welcome to the legends of Bray Wheelers audio series. In this Episode you’ll hear our evening with Peter Crinnion recorded in Duffs Pub in Bray early in late 2023.
Mark Murphy and Paul O’Neill from Bray Wheelers sat down with Peter to talk through his life in cycling and the early days of Bray Wheelers. We were joined by Peters daughter Michelle along with Aidan Hammond. Ciaran Mulligan on sound.

In this episode we find out more about pro-cycling when Peter begins his professional career in France in the early 1960’s including underhand tactics, missing prize money, Belgium and hotels in Brittany with Shay Elliott and the disillusionment with the professional scene and smuggling wine ..
Part 3 – Coming October 17th
After coming back from France, Peters career took a different approach as a brilliant coach, manage and mentor. The Tour of Ireland, Peter Doyle, Harry Dawson and the golden age for Bray Wheelers and heated discussions with the cycling authorities. The Nissan Classic and Stephen Roche gets discussed.
